We are a very small team and as small team, we like keeping things informal, like in a family.
Javier started the last chapter of the company, bringing it back on track in 2020. Since then, he consolidated the relationship with brands and made Macondo and the breweries we work with, more visible in Oslo. Javier had a lot of experience with the “selling-beer” world, and it was the perfect fit that the company needed. With his leadership the company set the foundations for a bright future ahead. And also he’s a Wine Sommelier himself!
Rod joined early 2022, since the demand increased, the ambition of Macondo grew with it. Rod’s background is more beer focused, having worked in bars and breweries alike. He helps daily with sales, events, tastings and he’s one of the very few Spanish Beer Sommeliers accredited by the IBD!
